Copper Skull Jewelry and Witchy Coffin Pendants

It's the season of oddities and curiosities. And I couldn't be more pleased. For me, one of the only perks of giving up summer's warmth and long lazy days in favor of autumn's rainy chills and full kid calendar is the pure fun of playing with creepy imagery and unsettling ideas. So with Samhain around the corner, I’m about to go full weirdo on you.

I spend no small amount of time thinking about why I make the art I make, be it alternative jewelry or speculative fiction. I’m the sort of person who likes to peel back the skin of any issue that genuinely interests me. The supernatural world - and the associated imagery - pulls me in, time and again. It always has.

Generally, I find it completely fascinating that we don't know everything there is to know about our world, our universe, our reality. I end up in a constant state of, "What if ..." that leads to endless questioning - and imagining.

So this month, I hope you'll enjoy the many skulls, coffins, cauldrons, and other relatively spooky creations I'm sharing just in time for Halloween.

I'm going to depart from my usual habit of posting individual (and linked) photos for the entire update this month. The pieces below are just the few I uploaded last week and this morning. Roughly 20 new pieces will hit my shop before the end of the month, so keep checking my Etsy shop for new items.

I'm always looking for ways to streamline the tasks involved in my updates, so I think I'll forgo product links on social media too. I'll still be posting on Instagram and Facebook, so if you're following me in one or both spaces, rest assured I'll show up all the same.

Until next time, Happy Halloween!
