Flashy Purples and Blues for Spring

The weather finally warmed in my town. Now the air smells like poplar sap and fresh cut grass, with flowers popping out of the ground and pink petals raining from the trees. How could I not add more colour to my work with all this amazing spring energy around me?

This week I have more electroformed pendants than fabricated pieces, but that gave me room to really play with a fun new finish I've been wanting to experiment with - alcohol inks! These powerful colours bring a playful flair to some already very funky designs, so I hope you'll enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed making them.

Below an epic fairy quartz and cluster combo, look for chunky amethyst clusters and a new skull point pendant. I created a surprisingly slender clear point and spirit quartz combo finished with an AB rhinestone and two shades of ink. A new skeletal quartz abstract formation also has both indigo and aqua finishes, also with two shades of colour-coated copper wire.

And on the fabricated side, I have a birch bark inspired 95% recycled copper statement ring, along with a midnight forest landscape pendant and a birthstone stacking ring. Like my other made to order rings, the original is also listed and ready to ship.
